This is the guardian deity of the Haitsuka area, and is communally worshiped three times a year at a small stone shrine. During the festival held on January 6, residents of the district set up and light lanterns and invite the priest from Kikuchi Shrine to offer Shinto prayers. The ritual petitions for a good harvest and good health continue about two hours from 7:00 pm.
