This kagura has been handed down from generation to generation by the Tsukahara Mukai-gumi, the parishioners of Jugo-sha Shrine. It was started in 1899 by the volunteers of Tsukahara Mukai-gumi under the guidance of Mr. Mitsuo Sonoda, the priest of Shiroyama Shrine (Shiroyama-cho, Kumamoto City). At one time it was also used as an offering at Nishioka Shrine in Udo City. It is now passed on as children's kagura by the Mukai-gumi Kagura Preservation Society, and is used as an offering at local shrines. The program consists of: Sanza (1-person dance), Shiho-hai (1-person dance), Sakaki (2-person dance), Niken (2-person dance), Shiken (4-person dance), Hou-ken (1-person dance), Ken-kyu(2-person dance), Yumiya (2-person dance), Mitegura (2-person dance), Jichin (1-person dance).
