The performance has been performed since the days of the old clans, but when Sashiki Village was divided into Hanaoka East and North in 1897, the male and female lion heads were shared between the two villages. Presentations are made at the Sashiki Suwa Shrine Grand Festival and the Ashikita Town Cultural Festival 佐敷諏訪神社大祭や芦北町文化祭などで発表を行っています。
