The "Otachi-no-Mai" is a dance performed at the head of the parade in which the two lions (performed by two people inside each costume) are each played with by ball-wielding children (Tamafuri). The "Yasumi-ba deno Mai (Dance at the Resting Place)" is a dance in which the lion covets the red balls and bell balls that the ball-wielding children tease him with. The "Miyairi no Mai" is a dance in which the lions, male and female, dance with the Tamafuri to welcome the portable shrine.
