"Kami Arao Kumanoza Shrine Kagura" (commonly known as "Kamikoji Children's Kagura") is dedicated at the annual spring festival of Kami Arao Kumanoza Shrine "Gongen-san" (April 14 and 15) to pray for "family safety" and a "good harvest". Before WWII, it was performed by young men, after the war it came to be performed by elementary and junior high school students. Since 1979 female students have also been able to perform. It is also performed at the "Sound and Light Festival", an event organized by local residents.
