(12) This event is held from New Year's Eve to New Year's Day. The residents of the community make offerings at a stone statue of Kokunzo-san while local firefighters sell charms (from Yotsuyama Shrine in Arao) to worshippers. Sweet sake and sacred wine are served. Kokunzo-san is said to have been separated from the Yotsuyama Shrine in Arao.
