Category Name:Rites and Festivals (folk belief)

The Sannomiya shrine is dedicated to the Kunitatsunokami Dragon God and is also known as "Imamachi Shrine". Originally held on the 24th of October, the ceremony is now held on the fourth Sunday in October every year. The rituals include a children's procession, a parade of 'mikoshi' (portable shrines) and, as in the case of the Aso and Kokuzo shrines, the singing of the 'Otaue Uta' song.
