This usudaiko dance was handed down by the eldest sons of Oniki-machi, families who were members of the dance troupe from the age of 15 leaving the troupe at about 30, but this is now changing. The dance is comprised of five usu-daiko (one head drummer, two side drummers, and two seki drummers), five gong players, a singer, a banner bearer, and a caretaker.
