It is said that this originated during the Keicho-era (1596~1615) as a prayer for rain. It has been performed two or three times in the Kamoto area, including the Cultural Festival of the Prefecture, and the inauguration ceremony of the town's Lifelong Learning Center. 《Composition》 App. 30 turtle handlers, 1 head handler, 2 mouth handlers, 2 clappers, 12 flutes, 5 shamisen, 30-40 female dancers, and 1 Urashima Taro (who rides on the turtle's back).
